About the Jury Member
Irina Lazzaretti embarked on her journey in piano performance during her childhood, discovering her passion for music at an early age. She received her initial music education at Scuola Civica in Milan and further refined her skills under the guidance of Carmelina Gandolfo. Her deep dedication to piano led her, in 2007, to co-found the FaSolSi Association with her colleague and fellow pianist Marco Falossi. The association plays a significant role in promoting music education, particularly piano instruction, in public schools across Milan.
In 2018, the FaSolSi Association launched “Concorro per Crescere,” an annual international piano competition. This prestigious event brings together hundreds of young pianists from around the world each year, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and foster their artistic growth. As a result, “Concorro per Crescere” has evolved beyond a competition into a vital educational and artistic experience that supports the development of young musicians.
Irina Lazzaretti continues her work at the FaSolSi Association, dedicating her efforts to the advancement of music education and the cultivation of young talent.
